Tagalys Smart Pinning lets you place any product at any position on your Shopify collection pages, with the option to set conditions that control when the pin holds and gets unpinned. You can pin by dragging and dropping, entering a position number directly, or pasting a SKU list for bulk pinning.
Any position. Unlike many merchandising tools that only allow sequential pinning from the top, Tagalys lets you place a product at position 3, position 50, or anywhere on the page without having to pin every position before it first. You choose the exact slot and the product goes there.
Pin conditions are criteria you set on a pinned product that determine whether it should remain in its pinned position or not. For example, you can set a condition that a product only stays pinned while it is in stock, full price, or available in your core sizes. The moment any condition is no longer met, it gets unpinned automatically and your active sort order fills the position with the next best product. When the conditions are met again, the product returns to its pinned position automatically.
Yes. Default pin conditions let you set store-wide conditions that apply to every pinned product across every collection simultaneously. For example, if you set a default condition that all pins must have core sizes available, it will take precedence over any other pin logic people have set otherwise.
Yes. You can set a start and end date for any pin. The pin activates automatically when the campaign begins and releases when it ends, with no manual cleanup needed. This is useful for launches, sale events, or seasonal drops where specific products need to hold a position for a defined window and then step back when the moment passes.
