Tagalys Global Sort Options, commonly referred to as GSOs, let you create multiple product merchandising strategies and apply each one instantly across any combination of PLPs and recommendation widgets. Instead of configuring the same conditions and sort logic on each surface individually, you build each strategy once, save it as a GSO, and deploy it wherever it applies. You can have as many GSOs as you need, one for each season, campaign, or merchandising logic your store runs.
Yes. You can create as many GSOs as your store needs. A sale strategy, a new arrivals logic, a full-price first strategy, a size-aware sort order - each can be saved as a separate GSO and applied to different sets of PLPs and widgets independently. This gives you a library of merchandising strategies that you can switch between, update, and deploy without rebuilding anything from scratch.
Any sorting or sequencing strategy you have built in Tagalys can be saved as a GSO. This includes Trending Score sort orders with conditions applied - full-price products first, strong size availability prioritised, new arrivals leading, as well as complete Sequences structures with multiple aisles each with their own sort logic. If a strategy works well for one surface and you want to replicate it across others, GSO is how you do that without rebuilding it each time.
When you update a strategy saved as a GSO by changing a condition, adjusting the sort logic, etc., every PLP and recommendation widget the GSO has been applied to reflects the change automatically. You do not need to visit each surface individually. This is what makes GSO particularly powerful for large catalogues where consistency across surfaces is important but manual updates are not practical.
