Everything you need to know
Tagalys Markets lets you control how a single collection behaves differently across each of your Shopify Markets. The same collection URL can show a different sort order, different pinned products, and different suppressed items depending on which market a shopper is browsing from. A shopper in Australia sees what sells locally. A shopper in the UK sees something different. You manage one collection. Tagalys handles how it appears in each market.
Shopify Markets handles the operational layer: pricing, currencies, domains, and product availability by region. Tagalys Markets handles the merchandising layer: how products are sorted, ranked, pinned, and suppressed within each market. They solve different problems. Shopify Markets makes your store technically correct per region. Tagalys Markets makes the collection experience actually relevant to each shopper in that region.
No. That is exactly the problem Tagalys Markets is designed to eliminate. Most brands currently manage localisation by duplicating collections, one for each market, which means duplicating every pin, every sort order, and every suppression rule. With Tagalys Markets, you maintain one collection and control how it behaves per market from a single place. As you expand into new markets, you do not add more collections. You add more market configurations.
Yes. Pins in Tagalys Markets are market-specific. You can pin a hero product for a UK campaign without it affecting what Australian or US shoppers see. You can also add conditions to pins, for example only pin if the product is in stock in that market, so pinned slots never break when inventory shifts between regions.
Yes. Tagalys calculates a Trending Score per product per market, using local views, add-to-carts, purchases, stock availability, and size depth. The sort order updates continuously based on what is actually performing in each region, not a global average that flattens the real differences between markets.
Tagalys reflects this automatically. Depending on your settings, the product can be demoted or unpinned in the market where it is unavailable while staying in position where it is in stock. Shoppers never land on a collection page full of products they cannot buy in their region.
Through market-level reporting in the Tagalys dashboard. You can see views, CTR, add-to-cart rates, and revenue per collection per market, and compare across regions. If one market is underperforming on a collection, you can identify whether it is a sorting issue, a pinning issue, or a product mix issue, and fix it with data rather than guesswork.
