Styled sets that stay together and move as one
Creating and maintaining outfits on your PLPs takes more effort than it should.
Looks lets you group products into styled sets and merchandise them as one. Pin the set, move it dynamically, reuse it across PLPs via Looks. The set stays intact even when stock changes or rankings shift. The dress stays with its heels and bag. The suit keeps its shirt and shoes.
Your shoppers see the outfit as a story. Your team doesn’t have to pin every product one by one.

Common questions
Everything you need to know
Tagalys Looks is a merchandising feature that lets Shopify fashion brands group 2–8 products into a single outfit block on their product listing pages. Instead of showing individual items, a Look appears as one unit - a complete outfit or matching set, so shoppers can browse it without hunting across the page. Looks can be pinned, moved dynamically, scheduled, and reused across PLPs via LookBooks
When you pin individual products next to each other, that arrangement breaks the moment one item goes out of stock, a sort rule kicks in, or your collection updates. With Tagalys Looks, the group moves as one unit. If one item gets hidden because it is out of stock, you can choose what you want to do with the rest. If it is set to Dynamic, the whole Look moves up or down the page together as performance data changes. You set it up once and it holds.
A LookBook is a library of saved Looks. Once a Look is created and saved to a LookBook, you can place it into any PLP — New In, Sale, Occasionwear, a campaign page — without rebuilding it. If you update the Look in the LookBook, that change applies automatically across every PLP it is live on. It is the difference between maintaining one styled set and maintaining the same set across ten pages separately.
When you pin individual products next to each other, that arrangement depends on every product staying in position. The moment one item goes out of stock, gets demoted by a condition, or a sort order updates, the arrangement breaks and you have to rebuild it manually. With Tagalys Looks, the group is merchandised as one unit. You decide what happens if one item goes out of stock — whether the set dissolves or the remaining products stay together. The rest of the page updates around the Look without breaking it.
A Pinned Look sits at a fixed position on the PLP. It is useful when you want a specific outfit or set to hold a defined slot, like a campaign hero at position 3. A Dynamic Look stays grouped as one unit but moves up or down the page as performance data shifts, the same way individual products move with the Trending Score. Both keep the set intact. The difference is whether the position is fixed or fluid.
That is your decision to make. Tagalys Looks gives you the choice. You can dissolve the entire Look when one item goes out of stock, or keep the remaining products together as a partial set. If the Look only makes sense as a complete group, dissolve it. If the remaining pieces still work together, keep them. Either way, you are in control of what shoppers see.
Yes. That is what LookBooks are designed for. A styled set you have built once can live on your New In, Workwear, and Sale PLPs simultaneously. When you update it — swapping a product or adjusting the order — every PLP that uses it reflects the change automatically. Going live with new editorial across multiple collections becomes significantly faster.
Yes. You can set a start and end date for a Look. It activates automatically when the campaign begins and steps back when it ends, with no manual cleanup needed. This is useful for seasonal drops, launches, or promotional periods where you want a specific styled set to lead a collection for a defined window.
No. Looks work with both the JavaScript and Server-Side integrations. With Server-Side, the styled set block is delivered with the page on first load, exactly the way Shopify renders standard collection pages. URLs stay consistent, pages are fully crawlable, and there is no client-side reordering affecting load time or search indexing.
