What are Sequences in Tagalys?
Sequences help you create structured, curated layouts inside Shopify collections - like visual aisles in a physical store. Instead of manually pinning every product into place, you define logic by product type, tag, or theme. You can control how each group is sorted and styled—without repeating the same work every week.
How are Sequences different from just pinning products manually?
Manual pinning is slow, static, and error-prone. You have to reorder products one by one every time trends shift or inventory changes. With Sequences, you define layout rules once, and the layout auto-updates based on those rules. It keeps your collection structure consistent, but dynamic—saving you 100s of hours across collections and campaigns.
Can I control how products are sorted inside each Sequence?
Yes. Each Sequence can have its own sort logic -by trending, units sold, inventory, views, or other performance metrics. For example, you can sort dresses by trending and co-ords by stock. This gives you granular control while staying fast and scalable.
What are Smart Sequences?
Smart Sequences take it a step further. So, now your sequences reorder themselves based on performance. So if “Dresses” are outperforming “Tops” this week, the dresses aisle will move to the top of your collection automatically. You don’t need to manually reshuffle layouts, or repin again.
Will this work across all my Shopify collections?

Can I set different conditions for different pages?
